John Ziegler: Douche Bag redux!

Douchebag Johnny is back! His new project is something called “Media Malpractice.” There is scant information as to the nature of this bright shiny new turd, but I am guessing that it involves a lot of tortured logic, staged reality, and vacuous fact-free commentary.

 

The primary evidence of this latest piece of “work” are the interviews with Sarah Palin that have been making the rounds of the cable and broadcast news shows and are prominently featured on the Fox News website (surprise!)

 

He seems to be a moderately skilled propagandist with a flair for the titillation, and he’s got a willing subject in Caribou Barbie! The pink outfit, the brilliant white teeth, the glistening pink lips! Buy stock in Kleenex, I think we’re about to experience a wingnut wank-a-thon!

 

They also fit together as fervent adopters of the idea that MSM is up to no-good! As evidenced in the videos, given enough time, even Bible Spice can come up with semi-coherent answers to the “got-cha” questions the mean old MSM sprung on her.

 

They both feed the others siege mentality where the Liberals and the media are all ganging up on them to keep their side of the story away from the public eyes and ears.

 

So taken was he by the MILF from Wasilla that he ejaculated on his blog “I also know now, with morally certitude, that the media assassination of her, her character and her family was one of the greatest public injustices of our time and I am totally justified in devoting my life to correcting the historical record in my forthcoming film…”

 

If that doesn’t indicate the extent that his moral compass is stuck on “Douche”, then read on.

 

As with most current crop of long-time self-aggrandizing douche bags, Mr. Zieger’s relationship with the truth is “strained” at best. I don’t know exactly when he and truth parted ways, but he’s made something of a living by substituting his own delusions for facts.

 

His resume includes being fired all his talk-radio gigs for being either stupid or rude (oftentimes, both!), he once plotted to kill O.J. Simpson to carry out the justice which the courts had failed (the fact that he admitted was boning the late Ron Goldman’s sister Kim didn’t bias his opinion in the least!), and he was quick to create a website full of the “truth” about his former employers at KFI. His fellow wingnuts there found him so distasteful that they ran him out of the joint.

 

He’s reputedly a “documentary film maker”, auteur of such comedies as “Blocking the Path to 9/11”, a half-witted exercise in apologism for the “documentary: Path to 9/11.” John wants to make sure everyone knows that the fabrications and falsehoods in this discredited piece of crap are really true after all. Really! That nasty MSM doesn’t want to you to know the real “truth!”

 

Just to round out his resume as a total douche bag, his former girlfriend sued him for $2.7 million for being a douche bag!

The underlying premise of the John Ziegler Show is that, thanks to its socialistic leanings, incompetent media, eroding moral foundation, aging demographics, and undereducated masses, the United States, as we know it, is doomed. In my view, we don’t know how much longer we still have to enjoy it, so we shouldn’t waste precious moments constantly worrying or complaining about it. However, because not everyone in this country is yet convinced of this seemingly obvious reality, the show does see merit in pointing out or documenting the demise of our nation and will take great pains to do so. And because most everyone can agree that there is value in attempting to delay the sinking of the Titanic as long as possible, whenever feasible the John Ziegler Show will attempt to do its part to plug whatever holes in the ship it can. With that said, the show realizes that, no matter how successful it (or anyone else) may be in slowing the downfall of our society, the final outcome is still pretty much inevitable, so we might as well have a good time watching the place fall to pieces.

WOW! Is that some kick-ass douche baggery or what? John Ziegler, you are now, always have been, and likely will forever be a DOUCHE BAG!

UPDATE (1/9/09): David Shuster had a little chat with Mr. Ziegler:

Ziegler: I believe [Palin's] character was assassinated, David, and I believe this network played an enormous role in that process and you took the clip of the Katie Couric out of context.[..]

Shuster: But John, even in the documentary, at least in the clips that you’ve released, she still can’t answer, at least it takes her several opportunities, she still really can’t say what she reads. Does Sarah Palin take any responsibility….

Ziegler: David, that’s ridiculous. Apparently you didn’t watch the clip.

Shuster: I did, She talked about news articles that are widely circulated in Alaska

Ziegler: You’re a joke.

Shuster: John, the joke is the fact that you and Sarah Palin can’t take any responsibility for the fact that she wasn’t prepared to run for vice president. Does she ever acknowledge that in any of your interviews?
