Laurel Street is currently located in southeastern Massachusetts, though I daydream about moving somewhere else. At various times in the past I have lived in White Plains, New York, Newton and Ridgefield, Connecticut, Ibadan, Nigeria, Dhahran North, Saudi Arabia and Boston, Massachusetts.
I’ve been around the block once or twice, having been alive a bit more than a half century now. I make my living transcribing criminal trials, hearings, police interviews, police radio transmissions and other legal matters. Truth is indeed stranger, and sometimes funnier, than fiction.
Make yourself comfortable, poke around in the archives. There’s lots of interesting and amusing stuff. Try searching the blog with a keyword. Oftentimes, rather than writing multiple new posts about an ongoing news event, I simply update the original post with updated information. Mount Redoubt is a good example of that.
